In our day-to-day lives, we often think of burnout as something that only happens at our jobs. In actuality, burnout can occur anywhere. Moms can experience burnout from dealing with the kids, the chores, and even their spouse. Today, I want to talk about what you can do to take a few stolen minutes for yourself. Every day, set aside 5 to 10 minutes for yourself to start your healing journey. I don’t care if the kitchen is on fire or your spouse is complaining about something they can do themselves. Take a deep breath and repeat: I need a few minutes to regroup. I can’t be my best or give you my best if I am drowning. Trust me, I know all about drowning. It can feel like standing in the middle of a crowded mall screaming, and no one hears you. Heartbreaking. But today, we stop the heartbreak and say enough is enough.   So, it's been almost a year since I wrote a blog post. And I have to tell you a lot has happened. Your girl found herself and she realized her worth. No more trying to look for love in all the wrong places. I really had to start loving me. For those of you out there that are wondering if you can stand on your own two (2) feet?
