Love Language

Image
“Did you know your love language doesn’t just affect your romantic relationship—it can shape how you connect with your friends, coworkers, and even clients?” “We all give and receive love differently. Some people light up when they hear words of affirmation, while others value quality time or acts of service. At home, this could mean writing a sweet note to your partner. At work, it might look like genuinely recognizing a teammate’s effort or spending focused time mentoring someone. When we pay attention to love languages, we learn how to make others feel seen, valued, and respected. And here’s the secret—when people feel understood, relationships grow stronger, trust deepens, and conflicts shrink.” “So, this week, try speaking someone’s love language—whether that’s saying, ‘I appreciate you,’ spending time with a friend, or even giving a small thoughtful gift. You’ll be surprised how much it strengthens every connection in your life.” “This has been Relationship Tuesday...I’m Ch...

March 14, 2026 - Saturday

Image
Happy Saturday, loves, I hope you are all doing well today. As Fred Rogers used to say, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.” Another weekend is here, and many of us are trying to recover from the week. I’ll tell you the truth—two days off never feels like enough. After working 40 hours during the week, having only a couple of days to recharge can feel almost impossible. Still, I pray that each of you finds some form of happiness this weekend. Whether it comes in a physical way—through rest, laughter, or time with people you love—or simply in a quiet mental moment of peace, I hope it finds you. I also pray that we are all blessed with good health. For those of you who may be dealing with pain right now, I pray that the Heavenly Father eases your pain or removes it completely. And for my loves who are fighting cancer, I pray that you find comfort in knowing that everything will be okay and that you have the strength to keep fighting. This month is always a little difficult for me...

Dealing with Burnout in your private life..

Image
In our day-to-day lives, we often think of burnout as something that only happens at our jobs. In actuality, burnout can occur anywhere. Moms can experience burnout from dealing with the kids, the chores, and even their spouse. Today, I want to talk about what you can do to take a few stolen minutes for yourself. Every day, set aside 5 to 10 minutes for yourself to start your healing journey. I don’t care if the kitchen is on fire or your spouse is complaining about something they can do themselves. Take a deep breath and repeat: I need a few minutes to regroup. I can’t be my best or give you my best if I am drowning. Trust me, I know all about drowning. It can feel like standing in the middle of a crowded mall screaming, and no one hears you. Heartbreaking. But today, we stop the heartbreak and say enough is enough. You only get one life to live, so for 5–10 minutes, start by saying: mom, dad… fuck those kids, fuck this laundry, and fuck everyone else’s feelings for a moment. What abo...

Been Some Time Now

So, again it has been a long time since I have written to you all. These days are built with stress, unusual worries and as always relationship problems.  This world has brought so many uncertainties and with the latest government takeover this seems to be a shitty country to be living in. So, Trump is now the president again for a second and final term we pray. His yes men and women now have us in an unwanted war with Iran. And let me say Iran isn’t playing with nobody these days. Like why Trump would even mess with those people. Gas prices are so high right now you must decide if you want food or gas to go to work. Damn shame you know. however, so many of us American are in the sinking ship together. Just unrealistic half of America is unemployed and up to their neck in debt. The bill collectors are calling daily, banks are taking credit cards back and landlords could care less about your unemployment. Is this what MAGA wanted when they voted for him, cause Hunny I voted for th...
